TIPS – A LOCI Tour guide for a premium Wine Tasting Experience:

• Hold your glass properly.
• Always use the foot to lift the glass up, so that you don’t stain it with your fingers and, above all, to avoid overwarming the wine.
• Observe your glass above a white surface, while tilting at a 45° angle. What do you see?
• Wine is a living breathing creature. Pay attention and trust in your senses!
• Use your nose and you’ll identify plenty of scents. Smell your wine once to detect its aromas, then swirl the juice in the cup, and now inhale again. Can you tell the difference?
• As the wine breaths, it releases more distinct flavours and pleasantly alters the taste.
• Alas, it is time to take a sip!
• Now, have another one, and this time, allow some air into your mouth to further aerate the wine.
• Take your time twirling it around your mouth and let all your tongue’s different parts to feel the flavours of the wine.
• Oh, and in case you’re planning on trying most of our varieties, either do so in moderation or, kindly, spit the wine out each time, so you can equally enjoy and appreciate the next ones to come!
